About The Golf Lab Ireland

The Golf Lab is Ireland's only dedicated golf putter custom fitting and putting teaching laboratory.

Based in Dublin, The Golf Lab is owned and managed by golf professionals with over 10 years experience in the golf industry, and have worked with some of golf's leading technology, including ISG Trackman and Sam PuttLab amongst others. We have received training in custom fitting from brands including PING, Callaway and TaylorMade, alongwith Golfsmith Europe. We fit for all of golf's major putter brands, inculding PING, Callaway/Odyssey, TaylorMade, Titleist Scotty Cameron, YES! and Nike Golf.

Our putting laboratory is located just off M50 Junction 9, in Park West Industrial Estate (click here to view our location). Due to the nature of our business, we work on an appointment basis for putter custom fitting and teaching sessions. Most of our available slots are in the evenings, typically 5PM to 9PM Monday to Friday, slots on Saturdays and some Sundays. We also offer some day time slots when required.

Bobby King - PGA Professional
From Roscrea in County Tipperary, Bobby began his training as a PGA Professional in 2008, working out of Birr Golf Shop & Custom Fitting Centre under Kevin McGrath. He had previously spent two years working in the golf industry in the Cayman Islands.

Bobby has a wealth of experience in golf coaching, with particular experience in putting coaching, short game coaching and group coaching. He has worked with technologies including SAM PuttLab, Trackman and V1 Golf Systems. He continues to work in Birr Golf Shop, spending his time advising golfers on equipment choices, custom fitting and teaching.

Bobby is often cited as being Ireland's tallest PGA Professional at 6' 8", and is also left handed, which allows himself to work extremely well with both taller and left handed golfers, groups whom often find it difficult to relate to a professional.
